Dye my hair. Don’t care.

It’s has been a long process but, this was my end result that I was 80% happy with. Using Manic Panic 40 Vol. hair lightening kit, L’Oreal Extreme Blonde [with some left over 40 developer from the MP kit] and Manic Panic’s Virgin Snow [toner], this was my end result after a few weeks of process. However, I wanted all the blond to be the lightest blonde, but, I got this gradation instead. Such is life. Nevertheless, it’s time to dye with other colors before I go back into the workforce. Though, I could just wig it up and continue with wild colors outside of work.

I use Cholesterol to help with any breakage as well as a deep conditioner on top of it to try to keep my hair on my head and not on my pillow. Definitely will help in keeping your hair healthy. Though I normally get a relaxer to straighten out my roots, I’ve been skipping it to just get a roller set with a press on the roots to keep the wave pattern at bay. No need for a relaxer since the bleach is already stripping the hair shaft. Last thing you want to do is fry your hair more than you’re already doing with processing it! Also, sleeping with a satin sleep cap has done wonders for my hair. It actually stays on my head while silk/satin hair scarves always ended up on my pillow. I got a decent one at CVS for less than $5. I don’t bother wrapping my hair anymore since I got the cap. Just use a fish tail comb or my fingers to shake out the flatten curls [after a salon visit] to get my messy look that I thoroughly enjoy.

So, what’s next? What my plan is to do Manic Panic’s Flamingo Pink and POSSIBLY Atomic Turquoise. I already have it so, might as well use it while my hair is still blonde. We’ll see how this goes. Will post pics of the end result once I get my lazy butt out of bed to do it.
